Bombers and cruise missiles against Iranian nuclear facilities

The Pentagon may order an attack against Iran using mostly B-2 bombers and cruise missiles to destroy nuclear facilities in that country, according to analysts published in The Washington Times.

The missiles, fired from surface ships, submarines and B-52 bombers could destroy the air defenses and nuclear installations.

The B-2 can throw tons of bombs, including the "Bunker Buster" that penetrate the ground to destroy underground installations and fortifications, in which suspects that Tehran enriches uranium for heads of war.

According to retired Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, the airstrike would also serve to start a revolution, so that the Iranian people can take back their country.

Another retired general Charles A. Horner, who held the high command of the air in the Gulf War of 1991, said the B-2 will be the key weapons to destroy underground facilities.
