Con el fin de entrenar y asegurar que los binoculares de observación nocturna GPMG propiedad del Batallón Marine Ranratfib 1 estén funcionando correctamente, el Oficial de la Sección de Operaciones de Yonranratfib 1 Mar (Pasiops), Capitán de Marina Muhan Solihan, realizó una actividad de prueba de binoculares de observación nocturna GPMG que se llevó a cabo en el campo de tiro Jusman Puger de la Infantería de Marina. Hartono, Cilandak, Yakarta Sur, martes (29/12/2020).



Un total de 5 mejores marinos del 1er Batallón de Ranratfib, acompañados por las Fuerzas Armadas (Basen), realizaron una prueba de visores nocturnos GPMG desde una distancia de 400 M del campo de tiro.



“La actividad que se realiza tiene como objetivo el aprendizaje y conocimiento de los jóvenes soldados de Yonanratfib 1 Mar y probar los prismáticos de visión nocturna GPMG si están funcionando correctamente o no, considerando la importancia de estos elementos en las actividades de entrenamiento de tiro nocturno y operaciones de combate, Yonranratfib 1 Mar”, dijo Pasiops. .



Estas actividades se llevan a cabo promoviendo protocolos de salud para prevenir la propagación del COVID-19.

Morrison Government invests in cutting-edge night-fighting capability for Defence


The Australian Defence Force (ADF) will soon be equipped with new cutting-edge, night-fighting capability through a $173 million investment by the Morrison Government.

More than 5,500 cutting-edge helmet-mounted fused night vision systems will be delivered to the ADF, combining image intensification (night vision) with thermal imaging to improve visibility and target detection in low or no light situations.

Missions Systems Australia has been awarded the contract to deliver the capability which is expected to be rolled out by 2023.


Minister for Defence, Senator the Hon Linda Reynolds CSC said the equipment will ensure Australian soldiers are better equipped to fight and win in all conditions.

“The new fused night vision systems will provide greater survivability to our ADF personnel through increased situational awareness and the ability to detect movement at greater distances,” Minister Reynolds said.

“The fused night vision system will also allow augmented reality enhancements, including location and navigation data in the heads-up display.


“Today’s announcement is part of the Morrison Government’s $270 billion investment in defence capability over the next decade which is delivering vital capability for the ADF.”

RMAF Su-30MKM will receive a demo of Gen 3+ night vision goggles (NVGs) from LEMT, which is part of the Belarus based firm BelOMO. LEMT officials tell Daili News, that the RMAF will soon receive a demonstration of the new generation NVGs, which do not require the cockpit lighting to be NVG compatible and allow the pilot to see out in darkness to 500 meters.

BelOMO is one of the largest optical companies in Eastern Europe with over 6,000 employees. The company is a well-known producer of high-quality optical sights for the small arms, including Thermal Imaging (TI) and Night Vision Sights.

The company is also showcasing a unique a solution for upgrading the day sights on RPG-7 launchers to day and night sights. The company also has on display its patented periscopic red sight, which can also be used for cornershot devices. With a product portfolio of over 200 devices, LEMT, has bought a number of selected products for display and demonstration.
