VIRTSIM Technology Enhancing the Battle of Army Members

VIRTSIM is a technology that provides a training environment environment that can be modified according to the needs of virtual reality training that can provide training to TD members practicing in any climatic conditions, landforms and logistics limits where this technology enables these problems to be addressed.
This system allows TD members to sharpen their military tactical skills, increasing their adaptability to the battle atmosphere and achieving the training objectives set with all forms of training to be made in the virtual reality arena of basketball courts.
This virtual reality technology is a US-based Motion Reality, Inc. technology that has created virtual body look in line with current real-world movements by capturing real moves and being channeled in scientifically dynamic data.
Amongst the advantages of this system, it uses limited space with members using special tracking systems and Head Mounted Display so that they can fully embrace 3D virtual reality training environments and at the same time can change combat scenarios within minutes by designated programs and be able to record every Training sessions from all angles to watch again.
In addition, the training can be implemented in any situation and is safe as it reduces the risk of injury to members in which eight to 12 members can carry out one hour combat training for one scenario covering 48 battle scenarios.
In a press conference, PTD thanked the Malaysian government and felt very proud of the procurement of this system as Malaysia was the third country to use this system after the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
"This technology is the latest technology that can help TD members bring in individual combat skills as well as groups which at the same time can undergo training from various angles under any circumstances.
"If a member's combat training situation requires 10 times to train with a lot of actual training costs but with this system it is likely to require only eight training and only two real trainings and indirectly reduce the cost of each exercise," said PTD .
Also present were Deputy Chief of Army, Lt Jen Dato 'Seri Panglima Hj Ahmad Hasbullah Hj Mohd Nawawi, West Medan Commander TD, Lt Gen Datuk Azizan Md Delin, Commander of TD Training, Mej Jen Dato' Paduka Tengku Ahmad Noor Tuan Chik and Panglima 3 Div , Mej Jen Dato 'Hasagaya Abdullah.
