Training Section of the 8th Mountain Cazadores (Hunters) Company (Compañía de Cazadores de Montaña 8), held a march to recognize the conditions of the Andean highlands in Mendoza.
Between 29 June and 02 July, staff from the Hunters sections, conducted a reconnaissance to observe the traffic conditions in the high Andes of Mendoza and awareness of the land to the younger members of the subunit.The aforementioned activity included walking and skiing to supplement the operational training of Mountain Cazadores.
While recognition was hampered by strong winds prevailing in the area and the lack of snow in many areas, the patrol was able to reach the 4300 meters high during the march.
