INS Sindhuvir will be Delivered to the Myanmar Navy on the Yangon River

First-ever submarine of Myanmar Navy will be commissioned in the first week of March.
A project 877 EKM kilo-class submarine Ex- INS Sindhuvir will be officially transferred to Myanmar Navy in coming month. This kilo-class submarine is upgraded with India-made equipments before delivery and also likely installed with India-made heavy weight torpedos as mentioned before.
Although this sub is aimed for training purpose, it will maintain its huge fire power, capable of firing Klub -S and combat readiness when needed.
Apart from this, we are also working on getting 2 more brand new kilo class before 2030 and India will play important role in this part.
