Langkawi (Malaysia) - RIA Novosti. Russia will supply additional batch of Myanmar combat training aircraft Yak-130, told RIA Novosti on Tuesday, the deputy director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Russian Mikhail Petukhov.

He heads the Russian delegation at the opening in Langkawi (Malaysia) arms exhibition LIMA-2017.

"In addition, in 2018 it is planned to put into the country an additional batch of Yak-130", - said Petukhov.

In 2016, Russia supplied Myanmar first three Yak-130. Fully first contract will be executed in 2017.


According to the Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade (TSAMTO), the Russian Federation and Myanmar signed an agreement in 2015 to supply the Asian country batch of Yak-130 aircraft.
